BITTTER – Sad Songs For Happy People

Release Date: April 1, 2022
Label: DIY

What does cotton candy sound like when it melts in your mouth? Bittter certainly doesn’t sound like that. They sound more like a bunch of punks and hardcore kids running away from the department store detective while flambéing the stolen vegan wine gums.

Bittter sound like anger about grievances in the big wide world and directly in front of their own door. Sometimes with a wink. Or with standing ovations at the neighbor’s forehead in order to check if everything’s ok. ‘Cause it’s not.

Everything is upside down, but with Bittter that’s good! A confetti-covered colorful pile, plus an appropriate portion of banging makes for a really good party. At some point everyone goes dancing anyway, with Bittter that’s today.

Comments the band: “December 3rd, 2021 – What can we say? We had to cancel our show for the same reason so many shows had to be canceled in the past two years. Our good friend and camera guy extraordinaire Chris Born came to visit us in Hamburg anyway and brought all his toys! So instead of going on stage we locked ourselves in a recording studio, played some tunes and filmed the whole thing… Enjoy!”
