TVIVLER – New Single “Dødløft” OUT NOW! Third Full-Length “Litium” for 2027 Announced!

Single “Dødløft” Release: October 2nd, 2026
Album Release “Litium”: 2027 (tba) via Dream Bureau

Tvivler sing about lifting technique and bodily decay on new single. Four years after their critically acclaimed album Kilogram, Copenhagen noise rock quartet Tvivler return with new music. On the single “Dødløft” (Deadlift), the band mix lifting instructions, experiences of loss, and the fear of bodily decay and of the social inheritance that becomes inscribed in the body. Musically, the song dwells on empty space and heft, finding its momentum in mechanical repetition and an almost demonstrative restraint.

“Dødløft” heralds Tvivler’s third album, Litium, which will be recorded this autumn and released in 2027. The song was recorded at Black Tornado Studios in Copenhagen by Christian Henrik Ankerstjerne, mixed by Jacob Bredahl and mastered by Brad Boatright. It will be released via Dream Bureau on 2 October.

About Tvivler
Tvivler is a punk band that sounds like a jazz band playing alternative rock. The Danish daily Information once described Tvivler as sounding like a post-punk band that has wandered into a poetry reading and immediately hijacked the microphone with loud agitation.

Tvivler is a group of musicians from Copenhagen who, since 2014, have channelled restless energy and pessimism about the future into songs that combine punk, hardcore, noise rock, jazz, art rock and anything else.

Tvivler are Morten Clausen, drums; Morten Ogstrup Nielsen, bass; Thomas Feltheim, guitar; and Thomas Burø, vocals. They have played explosive shows in Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Czech Republic, France and Spain, in venues ranging from tool sheds and squats to Roskilde Festival. They have released three EPs and two albums.
