The tape is introduced by the School of Zuversicht. Their version of the song Fliegende Heuballen sounds like they crashed into the Tanners’ garage together with ALF to record this remix. It continues with an acoustic city trip on psychoactive substances, on which Audiotope takes us with his sequence remix. KlaRo met secretly for a session with Steve Reich and Brian Eno at Ek Minute Baba Studio in Hamburg and the result was a terrific “Fibunacci”. Simon Ferdinand, meanwhile, rolls out the beach mat and serves up “Scuzzo’s Song” straight from the ice-cold shaker. MPC beat tinkerer Le Reum mixes his very own daydream out of “Liebeslied” to whistle along to. Did someone say love? Michel from Misses Next Match chats out of the secrets and transforms “Fliegende Heuballen” into the uptempo Love Revolution song “First we Take Manhattan”. On MPC Lafote’s “Guten Flug Remix” we glide with driving rhythms and synthetic sounds into higher and higher spheres of sound with refreshing air holes. At the top Knarf Rellöm takes us to Guz’s attic. The “Geheime Weltregierung” is a reinterpretation of Scuzzo’s “Transit” and a musical trauma coping with an encounter with aliens. Back on Earth, C.Coon takes us on a remix of “Fünf Länder eine Reise” where he not only dropped beats, but also pitched and collaged for all it’s worth. Surfing on the remix wave, Scuzzo didn’t miss the chance to practice reinterpreting as well, transferring School of Zuversicht’s “Urbanes Molekül” to the dance floor at double speed.
The tapes are individually designed by Scuzzo and each tape includes a unique and individually recorded bonus track at the end of the B-side.
+++German Info: Nach der Veröffentlichung von Manuel Scuzzos Album “Greetings from Scuzzo” erscheint nun – digital und analog – das Scuzzo Remixtape „Greetings from … Remixes“. Zehn Einhörner tummeln sich auf diesem musikalischen Regenbogen.
Eingeleitet wird das Tape von der School of Zuversicht. Ihre Version des Songs Fliegende Heuballen klingt, als wären sie zusammen mit ALF in die Garage der Tanners gekracht um dort diesen Remix aufzunehmen. Weiter geht es mit einem akustischen Städtetrip auf psychoaktiven Substanzen, auf

Michel von Misses Next Match plaudert aus dem Nähkästchen und verwandelt „Fliegende Heuballen“ in den Uptempo Love Revolution Song „First we Take Manhattan“. Auf MPC Lafotes „Guten Flug-Remix“ gleiten wir mit treibenden Rhythmen und Synthetischen Sounds in immer höhere Klangsphären mit erfrischenden Luftlöchern. Oben angekommen nimmt uns Knarf Rellöm mit auf Guzs Dachboden.
Die „Geheime Weltregierung“ ist eine Neuinterpretation von Scuzzos „Transit“ und eine musikalische Traumabewältigung einer Begegnung mit Außerirdischen. Zurück auf der Erde nimmt uns C.Coon mit auf einen Remix von „Fünf Länder eine Reise“, bei dem er nicht nur Beats gedropt hat, sondern auch pitchte und collagierte was das Zeug hält. Auf der Remix-Welle surfend ließ Scuzzo es sich nicht nehmen, sich ebenfalls im Neuinterpretieren zu üben und mit doppelter Geschwindigkeit „Urbanes Molekül“ der School of Zuversicht auf die Tanzfläche zu transferieren.
Die Tapes sind von Scuzzo einzeln gestaltet und jedes Tape enthält einen einzigartigen und individuell aufgenommenen Bonustrack am Ende der B-Seite. Digital gibt es Greetings from … Remixes auf Spotify zu hören.
