Berlin, 2026. Sometimes it takes time for a band to figure out what it really wants to say. R.O.S.A. didn’t need that time.
The Berlin-based hardcore punk band – consisting of Hassan (vocals), Til (drums), Jörg (guitar), and Max (bass), all veterans of Patsy O’Hara, Empty Vision, Tackleberry, and Ratfeast – made their comeback in 2025 with three digital singles and knew from the very beginning where they were headed. Now it’s official: In August 2026, their first studio album, “No Peace for You”, will be released on the Münster-based independent label This Charming Man Records – home to Die Nerven, Kadavar, and Hysterese, and one of the few labels that still views vinyl as a medium, not just an accessory.
“No Peace for You” features eleven new and re-recorded songs, including re-recorded versions of the three E:P: tracks “Cold Moon”, “Black Noise”, and “Ugly Boys”. The band’s core sound? Dark, reverberant, direct, with a metallic edge – for fans of GAG, Gulch, or other chainpunk maniacs. The re-recordings aren’t a polish-up of the old material, but rather a statement of where they stand: this is how the band sounds now, with an album under their belt instead of a demo ahead of them.
In between: soundscapes. Moments that let the music breathe – or, more precisely, suffocate it. R.O.S.A. uses these spaces not as filler, but as part of the album’s language. On “No Peace for You”, there are no gaps, only intention.
The first single, “Fragile Power,” already sets the tone. The title isn’t a contradiction, but an observation: power that presents itself as unshakable is the most fragile of all. Musically: two minutes that feel like four. No intro, no warm-up.
What sets R.O.S.A. apart from many of their contemporaries isn’t the tempo or the volume – it’s the attitude behind it. This band is no longer a youth band. The members are in their early forties; they’ve formed bands, toured, called it quits, and started over. You don’t hear that as fatigue, but as precision. Every beat lands. Every scream has a reason.

Jetzt ist es offiziell: Im August 2026 erscheint ihr erstes Studioalbum No Peace for You auf dem Münsteraner Independent-Label This Charming Man Records – dem Haus von Die Nerven, Kadavar und Hysterese, und einem der wenigen Labels, das Vinyl noch als Medium begreift, nicht als Accessoire.
“No Peace for You” umfasst elf neue sowie neu eingespielte Songs, u.a. rerecordete Versionen der drei E:P: Songs – “Cold Moon”, “Black Noise” und “Ugly Boys”. Die Grundkoordinaten der Band? Dunkel, hallend, direkt, mit einer metallischen Kante, für Fans von GAG, Gulch oder anderen Chainpunk-Wahnsinnigen. Die Neuaufnahmen sind kein Nachschärfen des Alten, sondern eine Standortbestimmung: So klingt die Band jetzt, mit einem Album hinter sich statt einem Demo vor sich.
Dazwischen: Soundscapes. Momente, die die Musik atmen lassen – oder genauer: ersticken. R.O.S.A. nutzen diese Zwischenräume nicht als Füllmaterial, sondern als Teil der Sprache des Albums. Auf “No Peace” for You gibt es keine Lücken, nur Absicht.
Die erste Single “Fragile Power” gibt bereits die Richtung vor. Der Titel ist kein Widerspruch, sondern eine Beobachtung: Macht, die sich selbst als unerschütterlich inszeniert, ist die zerbrechlichste von allen. Musikalisch: zwei Minuten, die sich anfühlen wie vier. Kein Intro, kein Aufwärmen.
Was R.O.S.A. von vielen ihrer Zeitgenossen unterscheidet, ist nicht das Tempo oder die Lautstärke – es ist die Haltung dahinter. Diese Band ist keine Jugendband mehr. Die Mitglieder sind Anfang vierzig, haben Bands gegründet, auf Tour gespielt und aufgehört, wieder angefangen. Das hört man nicht als Müdigkeit, sondern als Präzision. Jeder Schlag sitzt. Jeder Schrei hat einen Grund.
Aufgenommen von Jan Oberg @ Hidden Planet in Berlin – “No Peace for You” ist ein Album, das seinen Weg nach draußen kennt. Und das, ohne auch nur eine Sekunde so zu klingen, als würde es um Erlaubnis bitten.
